As reported on this site yesterday, on Sunday 24 April the Vereinigung Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter (VDP, the association of most of Germany's top wine estates) bestowed their highest award, the Goldene Ehrennadel, upon our very own team leader Jancis. Only six other personalities have been honoured with this award since 1993, the year when Michael Broadbent and Hugh Johnson received this prize in a joint ceremony.
