The following concise summary of the Beaujolais terroir project and the region's soils was produced by cartographer Sigales in alliance with Inter Beaujolais. We thought it was interesting enough to be worth publishing verbatim. See Beaujolais – mapped and sipped for more about the excellent newly drawn soil maps that are part of the project and for my tasting notes on nearly 100 Beaujolais.
