Last Friday two letters were added to the names of nine very proud people – see Nine new MWs. Hearing that you have finally passed the MW must feel like winning the lottery whilst giving birth on the summit of Mount Everest. Having done none of these things, I am only imagining. I fervently hope, though, that passing the MW is the likeliest possibility for me from that list (and giving birth the least likely, with a hope equally fervent.)
