Sadly there was no Échezeaux and Grands Échezeaux in sight. The frosts of 2016 affected both vineyards so severely that yields were reduced to 6 hl/ha in the former and 7 hl/ha in the latter. It was not surprising therefore that we could not taste these two wines, of which 980 and 710 magnums were bottled respectively.
