Domaine de la Romanée-Conti 2006

Don’t get the wrong impression. I do miss my highly esteemed and deeply appreciated boss when she is travelling but I was delighted that Jancis was out of the country on 29 Jan. This meant that I got to taste the just-released 2006s from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and to meet Aubert de Villaine at Corney & Barrow’s tasting in London. (Anyway, Jancis had already tasted the 2007s, and seen the bottles of the 2006 wines, on her visit there last November, as documented in this video.)
