Two further blind tastings of English sparkling wines with a handful of champagnes were a bit less conclusive about the superiority of the former than the first of these three tasting marathons organised by Nick Baker of The Finest Bubble. He chose the wines but there are now so many producers that such a tasting could not be exhaustive nowadays.
