Have Europe's wine labels changed?

A word of warning, this article contains no reference to fresh acidity, fine-grained tannins or irresistible aromas but it's quite long – and arguably the most interesting and useful comments are at the end. Almost two years ago, I asked the question, Will Europe's labels change? in response to the EU's proposed new classification system. The answer then  was a resounding maybe. Since then, I have been waiting for the labelling revolution that never came. There may be a few French IGPs...
