See an overview of wine in Japan, Land of the rising grape.
A wind of change has been blowing through Japan, resulting in a new crop of lighter, fresher wines coming from cooler, sometimes drier wine regions. Let me explain the genesis of these tasting notes.
Many of them were taken at the annual pilgrimage of Koshu of Japan to London when we are treated to the latest examples of this highly distinctive varietal white (see Koshu gets a passport and related articles).
