Two days ago in Melbourne 50 top sommeliers from around the world sat down to a blind tasting of Australian Shiraz.
The event was part of a sommeliers’ whistle-stop tour of the country, organised by Wine Australia to coincide with the World’s 50 Best Restaurant Awards taking place as this article is published, on Wednesday evening Melbourne time.
