Rebecca Yeamans is the tasting-room manager for Afton Mountain Vineyards in Virginia. She writes a blog called The Academic Wino, which is about ‘dissecting current research related to wine’ – an unusual wine blog brought about by her scientific background and training (a degree in biology and a Masters degree in environmental sciences) and her love of wine.
