The world's first volcanic wine fair

There’s nothing flashy about the Auvergne winegrowers, unless you count the flashing red lights (right) and the slightly wearing sound effects in the exhibition space of the 40-ha (100-acre) Vulcania theme park (below, in rather better weather than during our visit), which was specially brought out of its winter moth-balling for this one-day event: the world’s first-ever professional volcanic wine fair.
