A first taste of 2006 bordeaux...


A fascinating pair of back to back tastings yesterday: my first look at 2006 bordeaux through the prism of some of the less famous right bank properties followed immediately by a taste of 1982 first growths and some super seconds. From the too young to, in some cases, the apparently too old.
 
I shall of course be publishing my detailed tasting notes on around 40 wines chosen by the Cercle Rive Droite, the excellent me-too group of properties headed by Dr Alain Raynaud of Ch Quinault L’Enclos, to show simultaneously in London, Brussels and Zurich yesterday. A showing in...
