Bordeaux 2013 – a guide to our coverage

This year I was tasked with tasting the samples offered en primeur from the 2013 vintage in Bordeaux. It was widely regarded as the worst growing season in a long, long time – but I am assured it was pure coincidence that Jancis and Julia were unable to attend themselves. I therefore went, saw and tasted. Here is a guide to all our content about Bordeaux in this trickiest but frequently rather intriguing year. Prices have started to come out and all the signs are that most will be well below 2012 levels – but will they be low enough to kickstart consumer demand?
