No-one could say that the Bordeaux 2004 campaign has got off to a cracking start but of the few more properties to have released their prices today or very recently, one or two are worthy of attention.
I was very struck by Ch de Malle's 2004 in my blind tasting of Sauternes, and it's available for just £175 a case in bond from Fine & Rare which seems a good price to me. You could go for Extravagance de Ch Doisy Daene at nearly £2,000 a case from them or Farr Vintners but if it's drinking' not tradin' you're after...
