Villa Mas is quite a different animal. Certainly an unusual one. It is a beach restaurant in touristy S'Agaró-Sant Feliu de Guíxols, like Celler de Can Roca, in the province of Gerona, and again 100 kilometres north east of Barcelona, but this time right on the coast. It's not a grand restaurant, but it's very worthy of being in my top five; it has one of the best burgundy selections… in the world? Well, certainly the best in Spain. And it's all because the chef-owner is nuts about wine...
