We are very aware that many of France's best-value wines are made in the deep south of the country. Purple Pagers are too, as witness this recent thread on Value on the forum.
Below are notes on 121 wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon plus one from Provence that we have tasted recently. They are sorted by colour and listed in descending score order so of course the 'gems' in the title are at the top of each list.
