I ended last month’s diary with ‘Bring on the blossom!’ and had the pleasure of seeing it in profusion in Japan where Nick and I spent a week in early April launching a Japanese version of JancisRobinson.com, attending the award ceremony of this year’s Primum Familiae Vini’s biennial prize to a family non-wine company in Kyoto, and hosting a couple of tastings of English wine in Tokyo.
