Meanwhile, I'm off to Bordeaux to plunge into 2009 bordeaux. Alas this year, owing to a timetabling oversight, poor Cinders Julia has to stay at home processing my tasting notes – not nearly as much fun as tasting.
I will try to stay in touch next week, though it may sometimes be easier to communicate briefly via Twitter (see the bottom of our home page) than to write a long article.
