From 5 November, Tesco's lure at their new online wine service (www.tesco.com – but note that you have to register with this site before you can shop) is to offer a case of 12 bottles of Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc (no longer the rarity it once was) delivered to your door for £136.68, making it equivalent to £11.39 per bottle. One case per customer for as long as stocks last. And I do know that those who love Cloudy Bay really, really love it.
Yes, they really are desperate for your custom! The next November offer will be 20 per cent off all Australian wines from Monday 12 to Sunday 18 November. And for customers buying six or more bottles, in any combination, there is an additional 5 per cent discount.
