As usual, The Wine Society demonstrated what good value it can offer its members in this presentation of some of their recent finds to hacks like me.
Out of the 60 wines I tasted, I marked 12 GV for good value and eight VGV for very good value. A 33% bargain rate is pretty impressive. And the tasting inspired these recent wines of the week from a ‘secret’ Rioja producer. I loved another Rioja too: Palacio’s Glorioso Gran Reserva 2015...
